Dexter Season 5 Comic Con trailer

During the Dexter panel at Comic Con the trailer for Dexter season 5 was revealed. This season looks like it could be the best one as of yet, and that is saying a lot as Dexter has only gotten better every year (with the exception of season 2, which was great, but I think season 1 was a bit better). As you can see, season 5 takes place right were the last season left off. Rita dead. Harrison covered in his mother’s blood as his father before him. And Dexter not knowing how to take it.

Tron Legacy Trailer — It’s like Tron, but on crack!

Of all the presentations at Comic Con, I think this one might stand out the most. Tron Legacy looks like Tron, except everything is visually enhanced. CLU has gone from the un-textured polygonal world that it was, to an extremely enhanced look. When Tron was first released back in 1982 everybody thought that is was such a groundbreaking movie, and they were right. But look at how far we’ve come now.

The Westboro Baptist Church will see you in Hell… I mean Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con kicks off today, and nerds everywhere are praying to almighty Thor that it’s going to be the best one yet… well, that’s what the smart people of the Westboro Baptist Church think. Because of this these guys will meet you at San Diego Comic Con opening day, at 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM. So a message to all you nerds, you’re gong to Hell!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Official Trailer

We are almost to the end of a series of movies based on a series of books that ended three years ago. The Harry Potter movies have mostly lived up to their literary counterparts, some hit, some miss. But this movie (or should I say movies?) looks like it’s going to live up to the Deathly Hallows name. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 will be released on November of 2010, and part 2 will be shown in July of 2011.

Toy Story 3 review — A sequel that beats the sequel

We see it every day. A sequel to a movie is made that probably shouldn’t have been, and then even worse, a sequel to that movie comes out. The movie currently in review is not one of those cases. Yes, Pixar has done it again, they have created another masterpiece, and this year the movie is the final part of a series that I don’t think anyone expected a third movie out of — Toy Story.

Mortal Kombat: Rebirth trailer

I don’t know what to make of this, but it’s nothing like any Mortal Kombat iteration ever. Mortal Kombat meets underground fighting. No Netherrealm, no Outworld, just Earth, and some people who are really into masochism, and body modification. Let me know what you think of this.

LOST: The End — A series for the ages

That’s all folks, it’s been a great series, but all good things must come to an end. Last night the Television series, Lost, concluded its run with a 4 1/2 hour finale (a 2 hour recap, and a 2 1/2 hour final episode). The episode was great, and ended on a great note, but with multiple questions still left unanswered, but that’s ok, because it just wouldn’t be Lost if they had.

Lost: The Final Theory
