You know what’s not awesome? Fangirls

You know what's not awesome? fangirls

The eyes of evil!

There are a lot of things in this world that I don’t understand, but lately there have been three main things that are just horrible that have been in the news, and they all have one thing in common. Fangirls. What are these three things, you ask? Twilight, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber.

Toy Story 3 review — A sequel that beats the sequel

Toy Story 3 We see it every day. A sequel to a movie is made that probably shouldn’t have been, and then even worse, a sequel to that movie comes out. The movie currently in review is not one of those cases. Yes, Pixar has done it again, they have created another masterpiece, and this year the movie is the final part of a series that I don’t think anyone expected a third movie out of — Toy Story. I’m sure a lot of people were skeptical about this one as Hollywood has been throwing nothing but sequels and crappy re-makes, especially since this came out of nowhere, but I think we can all agree, this was a great movie. LOST: The End — A series for the ages

Lost

That’s all folks, it’s been a great series, but all good things must come to an end. Last night the Television series, Lost, concluded its run with a 4 1/2 hour finale (a 2 hour recap, and a 2 1/2 hour final episode). The episode was great, and ended on a great note, but with multiple questions still left unanswered, but that’s ok, because it just wouldn’t be Lost if they had.

Lost: The Final Theory

Locke appears to be the chosen one...

Locke appears to be the chosen one…

Lost, probably one of the greatest television shows of all time, is coming to an end this Sunday. The show has left us asking more questions, taking notes while watching, and even making up theories to speculate what will happen next. Now is our last chance to do just that.

The most disturbing scene in movie history

Incest

Makes me shutter every time…

It also has the best two line movie quote of all time:

Princess Leia: I love you.
Han Solo: I know.

Priceless.

Bill O’Rielly makes himself look like an ass in Iron Man 2

I saw Iron Man 2 on opening night, and it was great. (Stay tuned for the full review.) It had great acting, awesome special effects, and was just overall enjoyable. During the movie you will also notice two interesting cameos, one of Oliva Munn playing the part of a reporter at the stark expo (plus a deleted scene where she is hitting on Tony Stark at his birthday party), and another memorable scene featuring a rather surprising character. Bill O’rielly.

Yep, Bill O’Riely, portraying himself, makes a small cameo in a scene where he bashes Tony Stark for fucking up as a super hero, and for putting Potts in charge of his company.

As funny, and surprising as this scene is, it makes me wonder if Bill O’Rielly is a mere character/alter ego of himself who is paid by Fox News to act the way he does much like Stephen Colbert is by Comedy Central. Why else would he agree to make himself look like even more of an ass, and be his typical self on the big screen? It’s just kinda weird that he would agree to be the news reporting bad guy in a movie just as he is in real life (whether he realizes it or not).

As you may have realized, I’m not a fan of Fox News, nor a fan of Bill O’Rielly (or at least his character), so the best part about this is that when Tony walks into the room where Pepper was watching the tube, Stark says “Mute.” Hilarious, because Bill doesn’t ever shut up.

I missed Star Wars day!?

FUCK! I always forget about the awesome, yet obscure holidays. I won’t make the same mistake next year though, it’s now on my calendar. If you don’t know, I’m a pretty big Star Wars fan, so I am very disappointed in myself. Oh well, I guess I can celebrate on the 25th (The day star wars was first released in 1977).

Television is dying

A while back I was having a budget crisis and I needed to cut some costs. I was looking at my bills and found something that would be an obvious solution, and saving me a load of money — my cable subscription. I realized that being a couch potato did not have to include paying $60 a month for 500 channels that I never watch, and also that most of the content that I watch could be viewed online for free anyway. Ditching the cable was an easy decision for me, and you might not have any problem doing it either.

I should protest movies too…

Avatar, and its damn hetero-sexual themes...

Let me say that Avatar was an awesome movie. There a little something for almost everybody: action, romance, incredible 3D animation and a lot more, and unfortunately that’s not enough for some people out there. As good as Avatar was, this article is not about that, but a very odd protest against it.
