I’ve been looking at the site stats, and I’m seeing that one of the more popular browsers that is visiting the site is Internet Explorer 6. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but when I saw the actual numbers I got angry. Tell me people, why are you using such an outdated, featureless, soulless, tabless browser!?
Seriously, I want to know! Do you have something against the progression of technology? At an office with really old computers, and have a really bad IT group? Please, I want to know. I figured most of the people who end up here are at least somewhat tech literate, this being a place that mostly talks about technology, and the Internet.
I, as a developer refuse to support IE6. I’ve seen what my website looks like in the browser, and it’s HORRIBLE! Here’s a screenshot:

Yeah, big difference there, and I have no intention of fixing it either.
So please people, upgrade your browsers, you’re holding the Internet back about 6 years just by using Internet Explorer 6 or below.
In a weeks time I may decide to cause your browser to crash if you are using IE6 or lower. You have been warned.
