A while back I was having a budget crisis and I needed to cut some costs. I was looking at my bills and found something that would be an obvious solution, and saving me a load of money — my cable subscription. I realized that being a couch potato did not have to include paying $60 a month for 500 channels that I never watch, and also that most of the content that I watch could be viewed online for free anyway. Ditching the cable was an easy decision for me, and you might not have any problem doing it either.
I should protest movies too…

Let me say that Avatar was an awesome movie. There a little something for almost everybody: action, romance, incredible 3D animation and a lot more, and unfortunately that’s not enough for some people out there. As good as Avatar was, this article is not about that, but a very odd protest against it.

Sir, I think you may be addicted to social media

That’s right, admit it. You are an addict. I know I am, but not as much as I thought I was compared to many others. Be it Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or even MySpace, if you use them you are probably an addict. Not too long ago (a few hours ago at the time of writing this) Facebook was down, and chaos ensued.
Because of this 20 minute outage I was forced to create this Memer rage guy comic on my iPhone in about 5 seconds. The blogosphere went crazy, Twitter was enraged, and Facebook addicts everywhere committed seppuku. It was batshit insane during that short period of time and really all for nothing.

As you may have guessed, my name is Ryan, and this is my personal web site. This will be the place where I add my opinions to the world in their full content, and not just in 140 characters.
