KinectIt’s official, Project Natal is now Kinect for Xbox 360. Today at E3 we saw this thing in action, and let me tell you, it is phenomenal! Kinect officially launches on November 4th, with a starting library of 15 games.

Kinect’s starting games will be:

  • Kinect Adventures — A series of rail, and raft games. Friends can jump in at any time
  • Kinectimals — It’s like Nintendogs on a bigger screen, and with more animals
  • Kinect Joy Ride — A racing game, most similar to Mario Kart
  • Kinect Sports – Basically Wii Sports
  • Dance Central — A dance game from MTV
  • Your Shape: Fitness Evolved — An exercising game, also includes martial arts lessons
  • EA Sports Active 2 — I’ll get back to you
  • Deca Sports Freedom — Again, I’ll get back to you
  • Dance Masters — It’s like DDR
  • Adrenalin Misfits — I don’t think there was any game play footage on this, but it’s pretty much what it sounds like
  • Zumba Fitness — Another fitness game
  • Sonic Free Riders — You remember that one, right?
  • The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout — I guess it will be like the show?
  • Motion Sports — Another sports game
  • Game Party: In Motion — A party game

Kinect Will also feature a plethora of features from controlling your Xbox with your motions, and voice (Minority Report style), and video chat.

Microsoft has yet to put a price tag on this yet, but GameStop went ahead and put it up for pre-order at $150 (I used to work at a GameStop, and they do this all the time with releases so they can get your pre-orders), and have also priced a few bundles.

What do you guys think of this new device? I’d say it’s a real game changer (literally). I’d like to see what Nintendo will have to say about this.
