Kid Icarus Uprising E3 2010 trailer

The Nintendo 3DS’ first game to be announced is Kid Icarus: Uprising. I knew there had to be a good reason for Pit being in Super Smash Bros. Brawl! Again we don’t know much about this game, except that it looks really fun, and that it will be a Nintendo 3DS launch title.

Fallout New Vegas E3 2010 game play demo

G4TV sat down with Obsidian Entertainment at E3 to talk a little about Fallout: New Vagas. We aren’t in DC anymore, New Vegas brings us the deserts of Nevada which have been generally untouched by the apocalypse. We see that the city of New Vegas still is powered, and has the sin an debauchery that is Las Vegas.

Twisted Metal E3 2010 trailer

Twisted Metal returns on the PS3 in a pretty frikin’ sweet game. In this trailer we see two factions: The Sweet Tooth faction, and the Doll Face faction, and there will be more announced later on. In the game play we see two game modes: free for all, which can be played on-line co-op, and Nuke, which looks like a really complicated, and morbid version of capture the flag. It also looks like Nuke is going to take a lot of team work, so I wouldn’t suggest that you PUG that.

Portal 2 — E3 2010 Trailer

Portal 2 E3 2010 Trailer

At today’s Sony press conference we got a sneak peak at the upcoming Portal 2 from Valve. Portal 2 was announced to be Steam compatible with PS3. What I’m hoping that this means is that if you buy the PS3 version then the game is immediately downloadable/playable via Steam on you Mac, and PC. It looks like the Portal team really out did themselves this time. Portal 2 will be available sometime in 2011.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Trailer

FINALLY! The long anticipated Second Wii Legend of Zelda game has been announced, and I couldn’t be happier! The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword kicked off Nintendo’s big press conference this morning, and what a morning it has been! The Trailer shows off a new game style using the Wii Motion Plus for full motion of the sword, shield, and the various items. One weapon that I think will be cool is the whip as it could bring some Indiana Jones style game play, and the bombs… you can bowl with them. Nothing is known of what the story will be about, but my guess is that Skyward Sword has something to do with a possible enhancement to the master sword. The game is set to release sometime in 2011.

Here it is, the Gears of War game play footage that we’ve been waiting for. Here we see the 4 player co-op being used, and also the new enemy. As I said earlier, the new enemy might be the freakiest looking enemy in recent game industry. This shows a few new game additions as well, and there will be new game modes. This is one to get excited about.

Ubi-Soft may have shown us some of the best game play footage from E3 yet with Ghost Recon Future Soldier. This game brings tactical CQC, futuristic combat, and great stealth game play into one game. I wasn’t too big of a GRAW fan, but this game looks really great.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 — E3 2010 Trailer: Vader Can’t Stop Me Now

A few days before E3 a new cinematic trailer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 was shown. The trailer is titled “Vader Can’t Stop Me Now”. I sure hope that this game far exceeds the last one, as it was buggy as Hell, if not then I’ll wait on the price to drop, or just rent it. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is to be released on October, 29 2010.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood E3 2010 Trailer

As part of the Ubi-Soft media briefing, we got to see the trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (again… it’s not new), but also some interesting game play footage. This game is another step up in the series, with more moves, and of course, multi-player. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is set to release on November 16th, 2010.

Call of Duty: Black Ops — E3 2010 game play trailer

As my E3 coverage continues we get to see a preview of Call of Duty: Black Ops. A Viatnam shooter, a war that has never been cover by a game to my knowledge. The game looks a lot more exciting than I anticipated. Black Ops is scheduled to be released on November, 9th 2010.
